Sanford Bible Church is governed by a Council of Elders, with each elder holding equal authority. Decisions regarding church function are made by unanimous approval of the elders. Sanford Bible Church does not maintain a role of voting members. Nevertheless, the elders intentionally seek input from the congregation on any major decision before it is made. While we encourage and appreciate their input, the final decision is the responsibility of the Council of Elders. The Council of Elders are responsible for the care, oversight, leadership, and shepherding of the spiritual condition and fiscal well-being of the church.
